My wife’s brother-in-law, just said he topped his prelude out at 165 on cruise control.

It must be because I have the 12 hours of Bathurst casting to the TV from tablet, we were all better back in the day.

Actually I think you’re wrong. Given enough road my girlfriend’s Lancer will do 165km/hr well enough. And the Prelude has a bigger engine, the Lancer is a slouch.

He has a 5.0 AWD explorer, and it's gods gift to mankind, but it's been broke for about 6 months, he had the wife get one exactly like it and that's been their shared car. He probably topped it at over 200.

I’ve sat in the back of a mk2 Prelude while holding an old CRT computer monitor on my lap. We were driving on the German Autobahn at over 200 km/h (125 mph). I don’t think it could go much faster than that.

Being in such a tight space with a CRT on my lap and doing that speed in such an old car wasn’t exactly comfortable...
